10-Minute Funeral

10-Minute Funeral

“I am 4 and I get to ride in a cop car. A real cop car with the flashing lights and everything. I have a toy car at home but this one is so much bigger and cooler. They aren’t allowed to put down the screen divider between the seats which is stupid, so Mama won’t let me sit in the front seat even though I’ve never done that before and we don’t have a car so this could be my only chance. I am up past my bedtime. Watching the buildings fly past the window makes me carsick, so I look out the front instead.”
